I am so excited to announce some great news. On June 7th I entered a contest for Kerastase and I am pleased to announce that I have won! Kerastase is a hair care company that specializes in premium hair care products and on June 14th I was flown to LA to attend the Young Hollywood Awards.
The day began with me and my friend actress Darnella Daniels waking up at 3am in the morning to pack for our 7:38am flight. Once we reached LA it still hadn't sunk in that this was actually happening. We had a driver waiting for us in the lobby with my name on the cart. I was more than excited to start my journey in LA. We began by taking a small tour through some of the neighborhoods and on our way to Beverly Hills we stopped by Baja Fresh to get some great tasting Mexican Food. Once we finished lunch we checked in to the beautiful Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel which has its own floor for Oscar nominees and celebrities which was awesome. After checking in Darnella and I went to the Metodo Rossano Ferreti Hairspa where we received a complimentary blow dry service.

Next we headed to the Hotel where we got dressed and ready for the Young HollyWood Awards as we were pulling up we saw Miranda Cosgrove. Which made the experience that much more exciting. The event lasted approximetly 3 hours with the final performance by none other than Dev. There was also an after party where everyone had the opportunity to mingle and dance.
Overall, I had an excellent experience. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and greet celebrities in LA thanks to the Kerastase family.
